Job summary

SKUTOPIA's Distribution Centre in Altona, Melbourne, is seeking a Permanent Forklift Operator to join a high-performing fulfilment team.

You will move heavy items with counterbalance or high reach forklifts, perform pre-start checks, receive and putaway stock, and maintain safety and cleanliness throughout shifts.

We value reliability, attention to detail, teamwork, and clear communication as we scale and deliver up to 10,000 orders daily.

Qualifications

• Valid forklift licence.
• Experience with counterbalance or high reach forklifts.
• Ability to follow and improve traffic management plan.
• Basic computer experience.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong communication and teamwork.
• Commitment to safety and a clean workspace.

Responsibilities

• Move heavy items with forklift (Counter balance experience preferred).
• Conduct pre-start checks and basic maintenance.
• Receive and putaway inventory.
• Adhere to strict safety, quality and fulfilment standards.
• Be on your feet for the majority of the day including lifting and bending to reach products on racking, climbing stairs, walking and standing.
• Collaborate with fellow team members and supervisors to optimise workflows and ensure tasks are completed on time.
• Maintain a clean working environment - taking out rubbish, cardboard, etc.

We are looking for a Permanent Forklift Operator to contribute to a high performing fulfilment team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Move heavy items with forklift (Counter balance experience preferred)
• Conducting pre-start checks and basic maintenance
• Receive and putaway inventory
• Adhere to strict safety, quality and fulfilment standards
• Be on your feet for the majority of the day including lifting and bending to reach products on racking, climbing stairs, walking and standing.
• Collaborate with fellow team members and supervisors to optimise workflows and ensure all warehouse tasks are completed accurately and on time.
• Maintain a clean working environment - taking out the rubbish, cardboard etc.

What skills & experience are beneficial:

• Current valid forklift licence
• Experience using a counterbalance or high reach forklift
