Job summary

InfraBuild Recycling, based at the Craigieburn site, is seeking a Forklift Operator for a permanent day shift. You will load and unload trucks, operate forklifts, and perform daily checks while maintaining a clean yard and strong safety practices.

With a 7:00 am to 3:06 pm schedule (overtime as needed), the role offers a competitive hourly rate of AUD 35.77. Experience in scrap recycling or manufacturing is advantageous, and a team-oriented, safety-first mindset is essential.

• A valid forklift license with 2 years forklift operating experience.
• Experience in scrap recycling, construction or manufacturing is highly advantageous.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced yard environment.
• Collaborative team player with a safety-first mindset.
• Excavator operating experience is desirable but not essential.

Based at our InfraBuild Recycling Craigieburn site, the Forklift Operator will perform a range of operating duties within the metal recycling yard.

What you will be doing:

• Loading and unloading trucks
• Operating forklifts and performing manual handling tasks
• Maintaining cleanliness in the yard and operational areas
• Conducting daily checks on mobile plant
• Adhering to safety procedures at all times

This is a permanent day shift role with hours from 7:00 am to 3:06 pm (plus overtime if required), Monday to Friday. Pay rate for this role is $35.77 per hour.
