Job summary

SPC Global Limited is seeking a reliable Casual Forklift Driver to join our Distribution Centre team in Australia. The role involves operating gas and electric forklifts, carton picking, loading/unloading vehicles, replenishing stock, and supporting general warehouse tasks to ensure orders are accurate and on time.

Reporting to the Warehouse Leader, you will perform RF scanning, maintain safety standards, and work 4–5 shifts per week in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Forklift operation experience in warehouse or distribution settings.
• LF high risk work license is required.
• Experience with RF scanning is advantageous.
• Experience with electric forklifts and reach trucks is valued.
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety.
• Reliable and punctual in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Operate high reach and/or counterbalance forklifts safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload trucks and containers.
• Pick, pack, replenish, and relocate stock as required.
• Complete inventory movements using RF scanners and warehouse systems.
• Assist with dispatch and receipting activities.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment.
• Adhere to site safety, quality, and operational procedures.
• Support the wider warehouse team to achieve daily targets.

The Opportunity:

NDC is currently seeking a reliable and experienced Casual Forklift Driver to join our Distribution Centre team for 4 to 5 shifts per week. This role is responsible for the safe and efficient movement of stock while supporting daily warehouse operations in a fast-paced environment.

About the Role:

Reporting to the Warehouse Leader, you will be responsible for operating both gas and electric forklifts, Carton Picking, loading and unloading vehicles, replenishing stock, and assisting with general warehouse duties to ensure customer orders are processed accurately and on time.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate high reach and/or counterbalance forklifts safely and efficiently
• Load and unload trucks and containers
• Pick, pack, replenish, and relocate stock as required
• Complete inventory movements using RF scanners and warehouse systems
• Assist with dispatch and receipting activities
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment
• Adhere to all site safety, quality, and operational procedures
• Support the wider warehouse team to achieve daily operational targets

The successful candidates must have:

• Current License to perform high risk work (LF)
• 2+ years’ experience operating forklifts within a warehouse or distribution environment
• Ability to undertake manual handling tasks when required
• Strong commitment to workplace safety
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Good attention to detail and accuracy
• Experience in RF scanning an advantage
• Experience in electric forklifts, single and/or double deep reach is highly valued
