Job summary

GFG Alliance in Brisbane is seeking a reliable forklift operator for permanent, full-time shifts. You will operate a forklift, weigh products, and perform daily yard checks within a safety-focused, team-oriented environment.

Initial training weeks run 6am–2pm on a buddy system, then 10am–6pm. Company benefits include health cover, employee discounts, novated leasing, and access to wellbeing support.

Qualifications

• A valid forklift license and two years of forklift operating experience.
• Physically fit for manual yard work and lifting.
• Ability to work safely in a fast-paced yard.
• Clear two-way communication via radio.

Job description

This is a permanent role. Initially you’ll work from 6am – 2pm for the first 2-4 weeks on a buddy system for training and familiarisation. After this period, you’d move to 10am – 6pm.

Pay rate - $35.06 per hour

All overtime is paid at overtime rates.

What you will be doing:

• Forklift operations
• Weighing and recording product
• Loading and unloading trucks using a forklift
• Conducting daily checks on mobile plant
• Maintaining cleanliness of the yard and operational areas
• Adhering to safety procedures at all times
