Job summary

ASTAR Personnel is seeking an experienced Forklift Driver for a manufacturing facility in Wolli Creek, NSW. The role involves operating a Counterbalance forklift, moving pallets, and performing varied warehouse duties.

Training will be provided for the right candidates, with immediate start possible. You must have 1–2 years of forklift experience, be able to load and unload trucks, and work a 7:00 am–3:00 pm day shift, Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Experience operating a forklift in a warehouse environment.
• Ability to load and unload trucks and move pallets.
• Must have full Australian Working Rights and be available Monday to Friday.
• Able to work 7am–3pm and perform varied warehouse duties.
• Maintain housekeeping and safety standards at all times.

Job description

Our client a well-established manufacturer is seeking a Forklift driver to join their manufacturing facility in Wolli Creek, NSW. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals with process work or manufacturing experience who are looking to build a long-term career in production operations. Must be available 5 days per week Monday - Friday 7am - 3.00 pm. Training will take place for the right candidates.

Your duties will include but not limited to:

• Operating Counterbalance Forklift
• Moving pallets
• Loading and unloading trucks with pallets
• Various warehouse duties
• General house keeping duties
• Day Shift - 7am starts overtime available
• Some lifting may be required

Public transport close to site - trains and buses

• Experience working within a warehouse
• Must have experience loading and unloading trucks
• Must have at least 1-2 years experience operating forklifts
