Job summary

HOBAN Recruitment is partnering with a leading transport and logistics company in Dandenong South to recruit experienced forklift drivers for multiple shifts (day and afternoon).

If you hold a valid LF licence and have counterbalance or high-reach experience, you will load/unload, strap loads, and perform yard duties in a safe, supportive environment close to home. Training and progression opportunities available.

Qualifications

• Valid LF High Risk Work Licence (forklift) required.
• Experience operating counterbalance and/or high-reach forklifts.
• Experience in warehousing, transport or distribution.
• Ability to perform manual handling up to 25 kg.
• Reliable and punctual with safety-conscious attitude.
• Willingness to pass police check and pass background checks.
• Full availability for nominated shifts.

Responsibilities

• Operate counterbalance and high-reach forklifts.
• Load and unload trucks and containers.
• Perform general yard-hand duties.
• Strap trucks and secure loads.
• Manual handling up to 25 kg.
• Follow all WHS procedures.

Your Duties Will Include

• Operating counterbalance and high-reach forklifts
• Loading and unloading trucks and containers
• Completing general yard-hand duties
• Strapping trucks
• Manual handling of items weighing up to 25kg
• Following all workplace health and safety procedures

To Be Successful, You Will Need

• A valid LF High Risk Work Licence
• Previous counterbalance and/or high-reach forklift experience
• Experience within warehousing, transport or distribution
• The physical ability to undertake manual handling duties
• Strong reliability and punctuality
• A positive, safety-conscious attitude
• The ability to obtain or pass a police check
• Full availability for your nominated shift
