Job summary

Chandler Recruitment is seeking 2 experienced Forklift Drivers for a busy food manufacturing facility in Lindendale, NSW. This is an ongoing Monday to Friday night-shift role with reliable, experienced operators preferred.

Key duties include safely operating a forklift, moving materials, loading/unloading, and maintaining clean, safe work areas. You will work closely with production and cleaning teams and must have a NSW Forklift Licence and proven forklift experience.

Qualifications

• Current NSW Forklift Licence is required.
• Demonstrated forklift operating experience in warehouse/manufacturing settings.
• Strong understanding of workplace health and safety requirements.

Job description

We are currently seeking 2 experienced Forklift Drivers to join a busy food manufacturing facility in Lindendale NSW 2480.

This is an ongoing Monday to Friday night-shift opportunity for reliable and experienced forklift operators.

About the Role

• Safely operate a forklift within a busy manufacturing environment
• Move and position materials, products and equipment
• Load and unload materials as required
• Maintain safe and organised work areas
• Follow all site safety and operational procedures
• Work closely with production and cleaning teams
• Perform general forklift and warehouse duties as required

The role involves operating a bagging forklift with a lifting capacity of approximately 1.8 tonnes and a reach of up to 4.5 metres.

About You

• Current and valid NSW Forklift Licence
• Demonstrated forklift operating experience
• Previous warehouse, manufacturing or food production experience is highly regarded
• Good understanding of workplace health and safety
• Reliable, punctual and safety-focused
• Physically capable of working in a busy manufacturing environment
• Able to work Monday to Friday, 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM
