Chobani in Dandenong South is hiring multiple permanent Night Shift Yard Operators/Forklift Drivers to join our production team on a 6.00pm–6.00am roster.

You will operate forklifts, load and move materials, use RF scanners, and help maintain safety, quality and inventory accuracy on a 24/7 food manufacturing site.

Qualifications

• Forklift operation experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or logistics.
• Experience loading, unloading and moving materials safely.
• Familiarity with RF scanners and inventory systems.
• Strong attention to detail and inventory accuracy.
• Commitment to workplace safety, quality and food safety standards.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Previous food manufacturing experience is highly regarded.

Responsabilités

• Operate forklifts to load, unload and move materials.
• Work night shift 6:00pm–6:00am on a 13‑day month with monthly training day.
• Maintain safety, quality and food safety standards.
• Support inventory accuracy using RF scanners and systems.

At Chobani, we're continuing to invest in our Dandenong South site, adding new state of the art production lines and equipment, increasing capacity and expanding our team.

We're growing and we're innovating, which has created multiple permanent Yard Operators/Forklift Driver opportunities across our production teams where you can build your technical capability and contribute to how we improve safety, quality and efficiency

We run a 24/7 food manufacturing site to create Australia's most loved and number one Yoghurt products and we're looking for motivated people to join our team.

Requirements

• Work only 13 days a month including a dedicated monthly training day
• Compressed weeks, with every second Saturday off
• Opportunities for additional overtime as well as Sunday overtime

About the role

Due to continued growth at our Dandenong South site, Chobani is looking for experienced Yard Operators /Forklift Drivers to join our amazing Production team.

We have opportunities available across night shift (6.00pm - 6.00am) rosters with successful candidates joining a dynamic and fast-paced team environment.

Skills & Experience

Ideally to be successful in the role you’ll have:

• Previous experience operating forklifts in a manufacturing, warehouse, logistics or production environment
• Experience loading, unloading and moving materials safely and efficiently
• Experience using RF scanners and inventory systems
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to inventory accuracy
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement
• A strong commitment to workplace safety, quality and food safety standards
• The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Previous food manufacturing experience will be highly regarded
