Job summary

Chobani is expanding its Dandenong South site and seeks reliable Yard Operators/Forklift Drivers to join a fast-paced production team. You will operate forklifts, load and move materials, and support safety, quality and efficiency initiatives on a 13-day-per-month schedule with a dedicated training day.

Day shift rosters run from 6:00am to 6:00pm with compressed weeks and every second Saturday off. Overtime opportunities may be available, including Sundays.

Qualifications

• Previous forklift experience in manufacturing, warehouse, logistics or production environments.
• Experience loading, unloading and moving materials safely and efficiently.
• Familiar with RF scanning and inventory management systems.

About the role

Due to continued growth at our Dandenong South site, Chobani is looking for experienced Yard Operators /Forklift Drivers to join our amazing Production team.

Skills & Experience

Ideally to be successful in the role you'll have:

• Previous experience operating forklifts in a manufacturing, warehouse, logistics or production environment
• Experience loading, unloading and moving materials safely and efficiently
• Experience using RF scanners and inventory systems
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to inventory accuracy
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement
• A strong commitment to workplace safety, quality and food safety standards
• The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Previous food manufacturing experience will be highly regarded
