Job summary

A& L Romeo Pty Ltd in Queensland requires a full-time, licensed forklift driver for a permanent position. Salary is $79,423 AUD per year plus super. The applicant should have a Certificate II or 2 years of full-time work experience (at least 38 hours per week).

You will operate forklifts to stack and unstack items, transport fruit around farms and a distribution centre, ensure correct storage, monitor equipment, and perform minor repairs and inspections as needed.

Qualifications

• Licence forklift driver with a valid licence; Certificate II or 2 years' full-time experience (≥38 hours/week).
• Operate and adjust forklift controls to stack/unstack items across farms and distribution centre.

Responsibilities

• Operating controls to align forklifts and raise and lower forks to stack and unstack items in our farms and distribution centre
• Transporting fruit to designated areas in our farms and distribution centre
• Ensuring goods are stored in correct areas so that they can be easily located when orders are made up
• Monitoring equipment operation visually through gauges and instruments and through computerised monitoring equipment
• Inspecting and controlling equipment to identify wear and damage
• Servicing and performing minor repairs and adjustments to forklifts

A& L Romeo Pty Ltd are a national table grape producer with sites in Victoria and QLD. We require a full time, licenced Forklift Driver. Salary is $79,423pa plus super. The applicant should have at least a relevant Certificate 2 or 2 years of full time work experience (at least 38 hours per week). The applicant will be responsible for the following tasks:
