Job summary

GMK Logistics is seeking a reliable Forklift Driver to join our Sydney team. You will perform counterbalance forklift duties, load and unload freight, and ensure safe handling and restraint of cargo on heavy vehicles.

The role is Monday to Friday with overtime and weekend work potential. Applicants should hold a valid LF forklift licence, be punctual, physically fit, and able to work in a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Valid LF forklift licence with at least 2 years' experience.
• Able to work in a team and follow safety rules.
• Willing to undergo pre-employment checks if required.

We have an opportunity for Forklift Driver to join our Team . We offer great hours as well as overtime and extensive training will be provided to the suitable candidate.

About the role

An attractive hourly rate

Counterbalance forklift driving.

Unload and load inbound and outbound freight.

Load restraint – opening and closing curtains and strapping freight onto heavy vehicles.

Monday to Friday shifts - with opportunity for overtime and weekend work.

Maintaining a safe working environment.

Full time permanent role

Applicants with previous experience of driving prong forklifts and machine operation would be highly desirable, but not essential.

Skills & Experience Required

Valid Forklift Licence (LF class) (a minimum of two years is required)

Possess a positive attitude and great work ethic.

Be able to communicate effectively in a team environment.

Reliable and punctual and available to work 5 days a week.

Physically fit and able to lift between 15-20kg.

Past experience in logistics is a desirable but not a minimum requirement.
