Job summary

TLH Recruitment is seeking experienced Forklift Drivers with Pick Packing experience to join our busy client in Homebush. Our client operates in the food production sector and requires reliable team members for ongoing shifts.

Work includes loading/unloading with a counterbalance forklift, order picking, RF scanning, pallet movement, and cold environment work (0–5°C). Training from day shift to night shift may occur.

Qualifications

• At least one year experience operating counterbalance forklifts.
• A current LF ticket.
• At least one year pick packing experience.
• Availability for ongoing work (Mon-Fri + weekends).
• Flexible with availability.
• Ability to lift 15-20kg repetitively.
• Background in food manufacturing/production (desirable).
• Reliable transport to Homebush daily.
• Comfortable with working in a cold environment (1-5 degrees).
• Experience with data entry and computers.

Shifts & Pay Rates

PM Shift
Pay rate: $38.93 per hour

Duties will include:

Working in a cold environment - between 0 - 5 degrees

• Loading and unloading trucks using a counterbalance forklift
• Picking and Packing orders
• RF Scanning
• Moving pallets around the production
• Taking stock and ingredients into production area
• Manual handling required
• Shrink wrapping pallets
• Comfortable starting on day shift to be trained up then shifted to night shift

The right candidate will have:

• At least one year experience operating counterbalance forklifts
• A current LF ticket
• At least one year pick packing experience
• Availability for ongoing work (Mon-Fri + weekends)

• Ability to hop off the forklift and help with manual pick packing and general warehouse work
• Ability to lift 15-20kg repetitively
