Job summary

Talent Acquisition Group is seeking experienced Forklift drivers for an ongoing opportunity based in Revesby, NSW. Monday to Friday, 5pm-9pm, with a pay rate of $40.36 per hour. Immediate start available and a supportive working environment.

Applicants must hold a valid LF forklift licence and have proven experience operating large-capacity forklifts, preferably 16-tonne. Prior container yard or heavy freight experience is highly regarded, with full working rights in Australia.

Qualifications

• LF Forklift Licence valid in Australia.
• Experience operating large-capacity forklifts (ideally 16-tonne).
• Previous container yard or heavy freight experience is highly regarded.
• Must be able to work safely around heavy machinery and moving vehicles.
• Proactive and reliable attendance with Monday to Friday availability.

Responsibilities

• Operate a 16-tonne forklift within a container yard.
• Load and unload containers and freight.
• Move and position heavy freight around the yard.
• Stack and organise containers and freight.
• Conduct pre-start equipment checks and follow site safety procedures.
• Perform general yard and freight handling duties as required.

What's on offer:

• Monday to Friday

Your duties will include:

• Operating a 16-tonne forklift within a container yard
• Loading and unloading containers and freight
• Moving and positioning heavy freight around the yard
• Stacking and organising containers and freight
• Conducting pre-start equipment checks
• Following site safety procedures
• General yard and freight handling duties as required

To be successful in this role, you will need to have the following:

• Current and valid LF Forklift Licence
• Proven experience operating large-capacity forklifts, ideally 16-tonne
• Previous container yard or heavy freight experience highly regarded
• Ability to work safely around heavy machinery and moving vehicles
• Good work ethic and reliable attendance
• Availability to work Monday to Friday
• Full working rights in Australia
• PPE including Hi-Vis and steel cap safety boots
