Job summary

Sydney Tools is seeking experienced LF Forklift Operators to join the outbound warehouse team at our Moorebank Distribution Centre. The afternoon shift runs 4:00pm–12:00am, Monday to Friday, focusing on accurate picking and staging for dispatch.

You will operate LF forklifts, use Manhattan WMS and RF scanning to maintain stock accuracy, and contribute to meeting productivity targets in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Current LF Forklift Licence essential.
• Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse environment.
• Experience in bulk picking or outbound dispatch operations.
• RF scanning experience highly desirable.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Full Australian working rights required.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate LF forklift equipment in a high-volume warehouse environment.
• Pick bulk palletised stock from racking and ground locations for outbound dispatch.
• Accurately stage and organise orders for loading and transport.
• Assist with loading and unloading trucks and containers.
• Maintain stock accuracy using Manhattan WMS and RF scanning.
• Perform manual handling tasks (up to 20kg where required).
• Support cycle counts and stocktake activities.
• Follow WHS procedures and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet dispatch targets.

About the Company

One of Australia's leading trade retailers, Sydney Tools, is seeking experienced LF Forklift Operators to join the outbound warehouse team at our state-of-the-art Moorebank Distribution Centre.

About the Role

This afternoon shift role runs from 4:00pm to 12:00am, Monday to Friday. As an LF Bulk Picker, you will play a key role in the safe and efficient movement of stock through the outbound process, ensuring orders are accurately picked, staged, and prepared for dispatch.

You will operate forklift equipment (counterbalance and/or high reach as required) and use Manhattan WMS and RF scanning systems to maintain stock accuracy and workflow efficiency.

This role suits motivated LF operators who thrive in fast-paced, high-volume environments and are comfortable working to clear productivity targets.

Performance & Progression

The warehouse operates under a performance-based structure where pick productivity contributes to operational expectations and efficiency.

• Level 1 (Entrant): 40-50 picks per shift
• Level 2: 51-60 picks per shift
• Level 3: 60+ picks per shift
• Casual benchmark: 50+ picks per shift

Employee performance is regularly reviewed, with strong performers considered for advanced operator or leadership opportunities.
