Job summary

MTYU - Stones Corner is seeking reliable candidates for contract/casual forklift and yard roles. If you enjoy active outdoor work, operate forklifts, load/unload steel products, and support production in a busy yard.

Shifts run Monday to Friday, 5:00am to 1:00pm, with weekly pay and super. Immediate start available; long-term opportunities for the right people. requires LF forklift licence, physical fitness, good attendance and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Valid LF Forklift Licence
• Previous forklift, yard, labouring or factory experience
• Comfortable working in a physically demanding, hands-on environment
• Reliable transport and a strong attendance record
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to follow safety procedures and work effectively as part of a team

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts to load and unload steel products
• Move and position steel products around the yard
• Assist with the preparation of steel for galvanising
• Support production staff with day-to-day operations
• Operate basic tools and equipment
• General yard duties and housekeeping
• Follow workplace health and safety procedures

What you will be doing
