Job summary

Waratah, a John Deere company, is seeking a Customer Support Specialist - Forestry to support customers, dealers and service partners across the Asia Pacific region from Melton, Australia. Relocation support is available, and a tool of trade vehicle is provided.

This role blends technical problem-solving with coaching, training, and hands-on field service to optimise forestry equipment performance. You will travel to client sites to resolve issues and contribute to product improvements.

Qualifications

• Experience in forestry machinery or related technical environment.
• Strong mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills.
• Experience delivering technical training or coaching.
• Proactive, service-oriented with ownership and accountability.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and product support to customers, dealers, service agents and field teams.
• Commission forestry machinery and support new product introductions.
• Deliver operator and technical training through demonstrations and workshops.
• Travel to customer and dealer locations to resolve mechanical, electrical and performance issues (up to 50%).
• Assist customers and dealers in optimising machine performance and overall product experience.
• Identify emerging product issues from field reports and warranty data, and relay feedback to engineering.
