Job summary

Hutcheon & Pearce, Australia’s largest family-owned John Deere dealership, is hiring skilled technicians to diagnose, service and repair Agricultural, Construction and Forestry equipment across NSW. You will work with a collaborative team, receive OEM training, and participate in ongoing career development.

We offer a full-time role with work-life balance, rotational on-call, competitive hourly rates with OT penalties, monthly performance incentives, weekly tool allowances, and strong growth

Qualifications

• Trade qualified in Heavy Diesel, Mobile Plant, Agricultural, Automotive, or Heavy Vehicle trades.
• Able to diagnose, service and repair complex machinery.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills and safety focus.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, service and repair Agricultural, Construction and Forestry machinery.
• Troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic and mechanical faults.
• Work independently and with the wider service team.
• Complete service documentation and maintain records.
• Provide technical support and quality workmanship to customers.
• Assist in developing apprentices and junior technicians.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Diagnosing, servicing and repairing Agricultural, Construction and Forestry machinery
• Troubleshooting and resolving mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults
• Working both independently and collaboratively with the wider service team
• Completing service documentation and maintaining accurate records
• Supporting customers with technical advice and quality workmanship
• Assisting in the development of apprentices and junior technicians

Who We’re Looking For

• Trade qualified in Heavy Diesel, Mobile Plant, Agricultural, Automotive, Heavy Vehicle or a similar trade
• A current driver's licence
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• A commitment to quality workmanship and safety
• A team player who enjoys learning and sharing knowledge
