Job summary

MYXA' Disability Services in Victoria is seeking an experienced Disability Support Worker with forensic experience to join our Wyndham Vale team in a casual role.

You will provide personalised support to participants, work with multidisciplinary teams, maintain records, and advocate for rights.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience providing disability support, including forensic experience.
• Certificate III or IV in Disability, Community Services, or a related field.
• Demonstrated understanding of person-centred approaches and tailoring support.
• Current First Aid and CPR certificates, and a valid driver's licence.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, individualised support to participants, including daily living tasks and community engagement.
• Implement therapeutic and behavioural support strategies to promote independence and wellbeing.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to develop participant-centred support plans.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation to ensure high-quality service.
• Advocate for participants' rights in a safe, inclusive environment.
