Job summary

ATL Asphalt Vic Pty Ltd in Geelong seeks an experienced Asphalt Supervisor or Foreman for a four-week fixed-term contract. You will lead on-site crews, supervise daily paving operations and ensure timely delivery to project specs.

ATL Asphalt Vic Pty Ltd (formerly Greenhall Asphalt) is seeking an experienced Asphalt Supervisor or Asphalt Foreman to join our Geelong operations on a four-week fixed-term contract.

We have one position available, with the successful applicant’s role determined by their experience and capabilities.

We are looking for a reliable, experienced individual with strong leadership skills, extensive asphalt industry knowledge and a commitment to maintaining high standards of safety, quality and workmanship.

Conduct pre-site inspections and plan upcoming works.

Coordinate with clients, contractors, suppliers and traffic management providers.

Organise labour, plant, equipment, materials and subcontractors.

Oversee the asphalt foreman and crews.

Manage job scheduling, productivity and project delivery.

Ensure a high level of OHS compliance and safe working practices.

Maintain high standards of quality control and workmanship across all projects.

Identify and resolve operational issues to ensure works are delivered efficiently.

Lead and supervise asphalt crews on-site.

Coordinate daily asphalt paving and road maintenance operations.

Manage on-site productivity, labour and equipment.

Coordinate asphalt deliveries and daily site activities.

Ensure a high level of OHS compliance and safe working practices.

Maintain high standards of quality control, workmanship and compliance with project specifications.

Monitor job progress and report operational issues to the supervisor.

About You

Proven experience in asphalt paving and road maintenance.

Previous experience as an Asphalt Supervisor or Foreman.

Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.

Sound understanding of asphalt paving techniques, equipment and quality requirements.

Thorough knowledge of OHS requirements and safe work procedures.

Ability to work independently and manage crews effectively.

Experience working with councils and civil contractors will be highly regarded.
