Job summary

Melbourne Health in Melbourne’s Parkville precinct is seeking a hands-on Food Services team member to prepare, plate and distribute meals and beverages to patients while upholding safety and quality standards.

You will deliver meals, collect trays efficiently, maintain hygiene across service areas and follow cook-chill guidelines; the role offers meaningful work within a values-led organisation in a premier public hospital.

Qualifications

• Safe Food Handling Certificate for the Health Industry (or equivalent).
• Certificate III in Health Services Assistance.
• Ability to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Food Services plays a vital role in supporting patient care by delivering safe, nutritious and culturally appropriate meals to patients across the hospital. Working as part of a dedicated team, you will contribute to meal preparation, service delivery, food safety and maintaining a clean and efficient food services environment.

This is a hands on role that requires excellent teamwork, attention to detail and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service to patients, visitors and colleagues.
