Job summary

Moran Health Care Group is seeking a dedicated Food Services Assistant to join the Moran Kellyville home’s Food Services Team on a permanent part-time basis. You will work across mealtimes, plating, and food preparation under the direction of the Chef, in modern facilities with a supportive team.

Key duties include maintaining hygiene, recording temperatures, restocking supplies, and ensuring handover readiness between shifts.

Qualifications

• Experience or interest in food, nutrition, or wellbeing.
• Interest in working as part of a kitchen team.
• Pride in work and attention to cleanliness.
• Food Safety or Handling certificate is desirable.
• Must have valid work permit and police check.
• Vaccination for influenza and COVID-19 (including booster) as required.

Responsibilities

• Plating food at mealtimes

• Restocking supplies and receiving goods
• Recording temperatures and completing checklists

About the opportunity

We are currently seeking an efficient and professional Food Services Assistant to join our Food Services Team at our Moran Kellyville home. Permanent part time opportunity available!

• Shift schedule: Week 1: 14:30PM to 19:30PM Monday, Tuesday Wednesday Week 2: 14:30PM to 19:30PM Monday, Thursday, Friday & Sunday 06:30AM to 14:30PM
• Shift Schedule: Week 1: Monday - 6:30AM to 2:30PM, Friday - 6:30AM to 2:30PM, Saturday - 2:30PM to 7:30PM & Week 2: Monday - 6:30AM to 2:30PM, Tuesday - 2:30PM to 7:30PM, Wednesday - 6:30AM to 2:30PM
• Shift Schedule: Week 1 & 2: Tuesday, Thursday and Friday - 06:30AM to 14:30pm

You will work with motivated and diverse people in modern facilities where you will be enabled to develop your skills. You will work with a great team of dedicated people and your contribution will make a difference to our residents’ enjoyment of their life every day.
