Healthscope’s Nepean Private Hospital is seeking casual Food Service Assistants to join our hospitality team, delivering patient meals with a friendly, professional approach. Responsibilities

• Assist in daily food preparation and basic meal assembly.
• Deliver, serve and collect patient food requirements and meal trays.
• Assist in general cleaning of kitchen equipment and utensils including dishwashing.
• Act as a valued member of an interdisciplinary team by promoting a professional and positive team culture.
• Provide high standard of customer service to staff, clients and patients.
• Operate in line with WHS policy and procedures.

The hospital is a modern 109 bed facility providing a wide range of health services to the local community since 2000 including: orthopaedics, spinal, gynaecology, ENT, plastics, urology and general surgery, endoscopy, cardiology, cardiac angiography and obstetrics. As a Food Service Assistant your responsibilities will include:

• Assist in daily food preparation and basic meal assembly
• Deliver, serve and collect all patient food requirements and meal trays
• Assist in general cleaning of kitchen equipment and utensils including dish and pot washing as required.
• Act as a valued member of an interdisciplinary team by promoting a professional and positive team culture.

• Provide high standard of customer service
• Operate in line with WHS policy & procedures
• Deliver excellent customer service to staff, clients and patients
• Have demonstrated ongoing commitment to professional development

• Authority to Work in Australia
