Job summary

Respect Group is seeking a Part-Time Cook for Riverside Gardens, Nambucca Heads NSW 2448. You will prepare nutritious meals aligned with residents’ dietary needs and work closely with the hospitality and care teams to ensure safe, timely service.

The role offers flexible rostering, ongoing training, and a supportive, values-driven workplace in a leading regional aged care provider. Weekend work is expected as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous cooking experience, ideally within aged care, healthcare, hospitality, or a commercial kitchen environment.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and safe food handling practices.
• Food Safety Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
• Current National Police Check (or willingness to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook nutritious meals in line with planned menus and dietary requirements.
• Ensure meals are presented to a high standard and served on time.
• Maintain food safety and infection control standards.
• Assist with special dietary and texture-modified meal preparation.
• Support stock control and minimise food waste.

About the Role

We are currently seeking a Part-Time Cook to join the hospitality team at Riverside Gardens, Nambucca Heads NSW 2448.

In this role, you will assist with preparing nutritious, high-quality meals that support the health and wellbeing of our residents. You'll work collaboratively with the wider team to ensure meals are prepared safely, efficiently, and in line with residents' dietary requirements.

As a Part-Time Cook, You Will:

To be successful in this role, you will have:

Salary & Benefits

The successful candidate will receive a base salary between $79,000 - $85,000 pro rata, depending on experience and contracted hours.
