Job summary

Chefs On The Run is a family-owned hospitality staffing agency with 36+ years placing experienced kitchen and catering staff across New South Wales and Australia. Known for a genuinely personal approach — the team gets to know you, your preferences, and your goals.

Duties include supporting Sydney & New South Wales aged care, healthcare, clubs, schools and venues on a flexible casual basis. Work shifts you want, backed by a trusted agency with decades of client relationships state wide.

Qualifications

• Food handlers/I'm Alert certificate is required.
• NDIS Check or Police Check is required (per aged care).
• Minimum 1 year experience in a commercial kitchen.
• Own reliable transport and uniform required.
• Availability of 2–3 days per week minimum; travel up to 1 hour when required.

• Assist with food preparation, plating and meal service.

About the Role

Support a variety of Sydney & New South Wales aged care, healthcare, clubs, schools and hospitality venues on a flexible casual basis.

Work the shifts you want, in the environments you enjoy — backed by a trusted agency with decades of

client relationships state wide.

Duties

• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and equipment readiness
• Assist with food preparation, plating and meal service
• Set up and clean dining areas to hygiene and safety standards
• Operate within aged care and healthcare compliance requirements

Skills & Experience

• Food handlers and/or I'm Alert Certificate (required)
• Current NDIS Check (required for aged care) or Police Check minimum
• Minimum 1 year experience in a commercial kitchen
• Own reliable transport and uniform (required)
• Availability of 2–3 days per week minimum- willingness to travel up to an hour when required

Due to the nature of the work we do, we require all employees to have a current Police Check or NDIS Check. Working With Children Checks are also required for all work in Child Care, Schools and quite a lot of Hospitality.
