Job summary

CraigCare's Plumpton Villa Home in Glenroy is seeking a dedicated Food Service Assistant to support meal preparation, presentation, serving and cleanup for residents on a part-time basis.

You will contribute to high standards of food safety, assist with the Food Safety Program, and work as part of a caring team to ensure residents' wellbeing and enjoyment of meals.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in a similar role (medium to large Kitchen).
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work as a team player.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts.
• Previous experience in Kitchen operations.
• Sound knowledge of Food Safety Standards.
• Provide NDS clearance, Rights to Work.

About the role

As a Food Service Assistant you will be responsible for assisting with food preparation, presentation, serving and clean-up of meals to our residents. You will bring a strong commitment to customer service and food safety.

You will play an important role in committing to working safely within your team and promoting a positive outlook on the wellbeing of our residents.
