CraigCare is seeking a Kitchen Hand at Berwick VIC Home to join our hospitality team and support residents with meals and service.

This casual role suits reliable, team‑oriented individuals with sound food safety practices and the ability to work across a rotating roster, including weekends, to help create a warm dining experience for residents.

Qualifications

• Previous kitchen, hospitality, or food service experience.
• Food Safety Certificate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation, presentation, and meal service
• Maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic kitchen environment
• Support the monitoring and recording of Food Safety Program requirements
• Complete cleaning and sanitization tasks in accordance with CraigCare standards
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver exceptional service to residents
• Follow workplace health and safety procedures at all times

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Kitchen Hand at Berwick VIC Home to join our dedicated hospitality team and help create a positive dining experience for our residents.

About You:

• Previous kitchen, hospitality, or food service experience
• Sound knowledge of food safety practices (Food Safety Certificate preferred)
• Positive, team-focused, and customer-service oriented
• Strong communication skills and a can-do attitude
• Flexible to work across a rotating roster, including weekends

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with food preparation, presentation, and meal service
• Maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic kitchen environment
• Support the monitoring and recording of Food Safety Program requirements
• Complete cleaning and sanitization tasks in accordance with food safety and CraigCare standards

Key Requirements:

• NDIS Clearance (or willing to obtain)
• Police check clearance in case no NDIS clearance (or willing to obtain)
• Proof of Work rights in Australia
