Job summary

Respect Group Limited, the largest provider of aged care services in Regional Australia, invites you to join as a Food Service Assistant in a casual, flexible role across AM, PM and weekend shifts.

You’ll support menu planning to reflect residents’ needs and dietary requirements, prepare and present meals, maintain hygiene and safe food handling, monitor temperatures, and report concerns to the Registered Nurse in Charge.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Food Handling Course (or willingness to obtain).
• Current National Police Check (or willingness to obtain).
• Previous experience in residential aged care feed services.

Responsibilities

• Support menu planning to reflect residents’ needs, preferences, and dietary requirements.
• Prepare, serve, and present meals and refreshments in line with the Food Safety Program.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene, including general cleaning and safe food handling practices.
• Monitor and record food safety requirements, including temperatures and goods received.
• Deliver meals with a friendly, respectful approach and report any food or beverage concerns to the Registered Nurse in Charge.

No two days are the same! As Food Service Assistant you will:

• Support menu planning to reflect residents’ needs, preferences, and dietary requirements.

About You
