Land of Plenty Food Co is seeking an experienced Food Safety & QA Manager to own food safety, quality assurance and new product development across its Australian facilities.

You will lead HACCP, QA and regulatory compliance (FSANZ, NSW Food Authority), drive NPD for ambient and dairy lines, and ensure audits pass with confidence. The role reports to the Group CEO and offers autonomy and a broad, high-impact remit.

Qualificações

• Senior food safety and QA leadership across multiple sites.
• Degree-qualified in food science or related field.
• Deep HACCP, QA and regulatory expertise (FSANZ, NSW Food Authority).
• Hands-on NPD and scale-up to commercial production.

• Assist with new product development for ambient and dairy facilities.
• Keep audit readiness: HACCP certification, NSW Grade A, GMP, and FSANZ compliance.
• Run laboratory testing program, supplier quality, and document and specification control.
• Resolve quality and food-safety issues decisively and at the root cause.

The opportunity

We're looking for an experienced Food Safety & Quality Assurance Manager to own food safety, quality assurance and new product development. Reporting to the Group CEO, you'll be our food-safety authority — and the technical engine behind new ambient and dairy products, from concept through to launch.

What Success Looks Like

• All responsible facilities hold current HACCP / NSW Grade A certification
• GMP scorecards consistently above 90%.
• New ambient and dairy products reach market on time, right first time, and contribute meaningfully to group sales.
• Food-safety and quality risks are surfaced and resolved early, and the group withstands any external or regulatory audit with confidence.

What you'll do

• Own and maintain our HACCP, QA and food safety programs across all sites and kitchens.
• Assist with new product development for our ambient and dairy manufacturing facilities.
• Keep us audit-ready: HACCP certification, NSW Grade A, GMP, and full FSANZ compliance.
• Run our laboratory testing program, supplier quality, and document and specification control.
• Resolve quality and food-safety issues decisively and at the root cause.

What you'll bring

• Senior food safety and QA leadership in a multi-site food manufacturing environment.
• Suitably degree qualified
• Strong HACCP, QA and regulatory expertise — FSANZ, and NSW Food Authority.
• Hands-on NPD and technical formulation experience, including scale-up to commercial production.
• A rigorous, systematic approach, and the ability to balance food-safety discipline with commercial pace.
