Job summary

Australian Venue Co. is recruiting for a Food Runner at Fairfield Boat House in Melbourne. You’ll support service at a busy venue, delivering food and beverages, assisting front of house, and helping ensure guest experiences run smoothly.

We’re looking for at least 1 year in hospitality, a genuine passion for guest service, a positive attitude, and the ability to stay calm in a fast-paced environment. Weekend/evening/public holiday availability is preferred.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year in hospitality, bar, restaurant or customer service roles.
• Weekend, evening and public holiday availability preferred.
• Passion for hospitality and guest experiences.
• Positive, energetic attitude and willingness to get involved.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming guests and providing friendly, professional service.
• Serving food and beverages.
• Providing table and floor service across the venue.
• Maintaining clean, organised and well-presented service areas.
• Working closely with the kitchen and wider Front of House team.
• Assisting with venue set-up, pack-down and events when required.
• Following food safety and venue procedures.
• Creating memorable experiences for guests.
