Operating seven days a week, we serve lunch and dinner Monday to Saturday, with a relaxed lunch service on Sundays. The Role

We are seeking a Food & Beverage Attendant to join our Front of House team as a Food Runner. Working at the pass, you will support our waiters by ensuring dishes are delivered promptly, accurately and with care, playing an essential role in the guest experience.

This role is available on a full-time, paid hourly under our Enterprise Agreement.

It is an excellent entry point into premium dining, with progression opportunities for those who demonstrate skill, initiative and a passion for hospitality.

As part of your training, you will develop a strong understanding of food safety standards and the sequence of service that underpins our dining experience.

Responsibilities Include

• Running food from the pass to guests with accuracy, efficiency and attention to detail
• Supporting waiters in delivering a seamless guest experience
• Assisting with table maintenance and resetting between courses
• Ensuring clear communication between the kitchen and front-of-house teams
• Applying food safety standards and understanding sequence of service expectations
• Upholding Cafe Sydney's standards of professionalism and guest care

About You

• Previous experience in a high-volume restaurant is preferred but not essential
• A positive attitude, strong work ethic and willingness to learn are key
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced team environment
• Must hold a current RSA and Food Safety Certificate (or be willing to obtain prior to commencement)
• Must have full working rights in Australia (visa sponsorship is not available for this role)
• Availability across lunch and dinner shifts, including weekdays and weekends
• A genuine passion for hospitality and ambition to grow within the industry
