Job summary

AWX in Cooroy, Queensland, is seeking an experienced Store Manager to lead daily operations, serve customers on the shop floor, and mentor a 15‑strong team to deliver outstanding service.

About the Role:

This is a hands‑on leadership role, You'll be right in the thick of it, leading by example on the shop floor. You'll serve customers, support your team, and keep the store running smoothly while setting the standard for service and teamwork.

Fresh produce or specialty food experience is a bonus, not a must. They can teach you the products and industry. They are looking for confidence, good judgement, a positive attitude, and someone who genuinely enjoys leading people and creating a great customer experience.

• Open and/or close the store as required, including cash handling, security procedures, and end-of-shift reconciliation
• Supervise, direct, and support team members on shift by allocating tasks, monitoring performance, and providing real‑time coaching
• Foster a positive and collaborative team culture by leading through attitude, energy, and effort
• Communicate team or operational issues to management clearly and promptly
• Maintain high standards of customer service, store presentation, and operational efficiency
