Job summary

Meals Plus is seeking a reliable Production Assistant to join our Botany, NSW team. This casual role offers approximately 30 hours per week, with shifts on Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday as rostered. You will help with daily production, packing, labeling, and ensure food safety and cleanliness.

Prev. experience in food manufacturing is an advantage, but training will be provided. Ongoing work with a supportive team environment is offered.

Qualifications

• Experience in food production is preferred but training will be provided.
• Familiarity with GMP/HACCP or food safety guidelines is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily food production and meal preparation.
• Support plating, packing and labeling of meals.
• Follow production schedules and instructions.
• Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene and cleanliness.
• Follow GMP, HACCP and workplace safety procedures.
• Assist with picking, packing and dispatch when required.
• Check products and packaging for quality and accuracy.
• Keep production areas clean, organized and safe.
• Work efficiently to meet daily production targets.
• Work cooperatively with the production and QA teams.

Meals Plus is looking for a reliable and motivated Production Assistant to join our food production team in Botany, NSW. This is a casual role with approximately 30 hours per week. Applicants must be available to work at least 3 days per week and be available for the full shift on rostered days.

What you will do

• Assist with daily food production and meal preparation
• Support plating, packing and labelling of meals
• Follow production schedules and instructions
• Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene and cleanliness
• Follow GMP, HACCP and workplace safety procedures
• Assist with picking, packing and dispatch when required
• Check products and packaging for quality and accuracy

Previous food manufacturing or commercial kitchen experience is an advantage, but training will be provided
