BaptistCare is seeking casual Food Service Assistants to support congregate dining at St Hilary’s in Morwell, VIC. You’ll assist the Head Chef, deliver meals, and ensure residents’ dietary needs are met with care and respect.

These roles offer flexible morning and afternoon shifts across weekdays and weekends, with training and development opportunities, and access to support services. Previous aged care experience is desirable but not essential.

• National Police Check (or willingness to obtain) is required.
• Proof of working rights in Australia is required.
• Willingness to complete a medical assessment to confirm physical capability for the role.

THE ROLE

Assisting the Head Chef to deliver high-quality, hands-on kitchen operations aligned with each resident’s specific dietary requirements.

Every day looks a little different, but the focus is always the same: the person in front of you.

ABOUT YOU

You’re reliable, compassionate, and bring genuine energy to every shift.

• Relevant Industry Training – Food Handling and Hygiene Certificate
• 12 months’ experience working in a residential aged care facility (Desirable)
• Honest, reliable, and attentive to detail
• Flexible and positive — comfortable working across a variety of shifts
• National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
• Proof of working rights in Australia
• Willingness to complete a medical assessment to confirm physical capability for the role
