Key responsibilities

• Provide friendly, professional, and efficient service to guests in restaurants, bars, banquets, and in-room dining
• Assist with opening and closing duties, including setting up supplies, cleaning work areas, and ensuring readiness for service
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene throughout service hours, following "clean-as-you-go" practices
• Monitor dining areas for guest comfort, safety, and overall experience
• Respond promptly and positively to guest requests and inquiries
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure smooth operations and timely service
• Support other departments when required to deliver exceptional guest experiences
• Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge
• Greet and acknowledge guests warmly, using their name when possible
• Anticipate guest needs and provide assistance

About you

• Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification required before commencement
• Minimum 1-2 years of Food & Beverage experience required
• Previous experience in Food & Beverage service within hotels, restaurants, or events preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and as part of a team
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and public holidays
• Hospitality qualification desirable but not essential
• Australian work authorisation is required for this position (no sponsorship available)
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, lifting, bending, and reaching during shifts
