Crowne Plaza Hawkesbury Valley, part of IHG Hotels & Resorts, seeks Casual Food & Beverage Attendants to deliver memorable guest experiences across restaurant, bar, room service and events. You’ll work under supervision to ensure smooth operations and outstanding service, with availability to work at least four days per week including weekends.

Located near Sydney, this role offers a supportive team, full uniform and staff benefits.

Qualifications

• Positive attitude and enthusiasm to learn new things.
• Team player with a service mindset.
• Availability to work a minimum of 4 days per week, including weekends.
• Two years' hospitality/F&B experience preferred.
• Experience as barista, waiter/waitress, or bartender highly regarded.
• Able to lift up to 20 kg and work bending/kneeling positions.
• Willingness to obtain NSW Responsible Service of Alcohol certification.

Responsibilities

• Work across restaurant, bar, room service and events delivering guest experiences.
• Maintain high standards and a signature flair in service.
• Keep the bar stocked and ensure a clean, safe work environment.
• Assist with washing up and other kitchen duties as needed.
• Minimise waste and keep supervisor informed of unsafe equipment or low supplies.
• Take on ad-hoc duties to keep service running smoothly.

Food & Beverage Attendant - Crowne Plaza

Which is why we’re seeking Casual Food & Beverage Attendants who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are confident in delivering exceptional guest experiences seamless service. You’ll have availability to work at least four days per week, including weekends, and ideally bring two years of Food & Beverage experience. Previous experience as a barista, waitstaff or bartender will be highly regarded.

Located in the Valley of The Hawkesbury River, just 45 minutes from Sydney and at the foothills of the Blue Mountains, Crowne Plaza Hawkesbury Valley is the ideal destination for a group getaway, romantic retreat, wedding or conference destination. Based on 8 hectares of landscaped gardens, our comfortable, contemporary rooms and suites,as well as delicious dining options provide our guests with a diverse destination experience. As a Food & Beverage Attendant, you will work under the direction of our Food & Beverage Supervisors to help ensure the smooth running of our venue.

A little taste of your day-to-day:

• Work across our restaurant, bar, room service and events spaces, delivering wonderful experiences to our guests
• Striving to make every meal truly memorable for our guests by serving up highstandards with our signature flare
• Keeping the bar well stocked and making sure it’s always a clean and safe place to work
• Helping with washing up and other kitchen duties when the team needs you
• Minimising waste and keeping your supervisorin the loop about any unsafe equipment, low supplies, or safety incidents
• Taking on ad-hoc duties to keep the service running smoothly

Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:

• Work across our restaurant, bar, room service and events spaces, delivering wonderful experiences to our guests
• Striving to make every meal truly memorable for our guests by serving up highstandards with our signature flare
• Keeping the bar well stocked and making sure it’s always a clean and safe place to work
• Helping with washing up and other kitchen duties when the team needs you

What we need from you:

• Can do positive attitude and enthusiasm to learn new things
• Team player with a service mindset
• Availability to work a minimum of 4 days per week, including weekends
• Previous Food & Beverage experience, with 2 years' hospitality experience preferred
• Experience as a barista, waiter/waitress, or bartender will be highly regarded
• Embrace and demonstrate our values
• The strength to lift, push and pull big objects up to 20kgwhich can also involve bending and kneeling
• Hold or willing to obtain Responsible Service of Alcohol (NSW)
• Compliance with local laws on food handling and serving alcohol
• Great communication – you’ll be warm, welcoming, and easy to talk to
