Job summary

ICC Sydney is seeking a passionate and experienced Food & Beverage professional to join our world-class team as Event Delivery Manager. You will lead a large, diverse team across event operations and F&B services, coordinating with logistics, technical services, and hospitality to deliver outstanding experiences.

You will drive service excellence, manage complex events, ensure safety and compliance, and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to uphold ICC Sydney’s

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience leading large-scale food & beverage operations in venues, hotels, convention centres or stadiums.
  • Minimum four years industry experience including two years in a senior supervisory role.
  • Valid NSW Responsible Service of Alcohol accreditation.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver high-level customer service and lead large operational teams.

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a large, diverse team across event operations and F&B services.

About this opportunity:

ICC Sydney arelooking for a passionate and experienced, Food & Beverage professional asour next Event Delivery Manager to join our world-class team. No two days willbe the same while you empower our team to deliver extraordinary service for amultitude of events across our venues.

Our ideal candidate is aconfident Food & Beverage operational leader with a proven track record indelivering large and complex events, and high-volume food & beverage servicespreferably within large scale events venues or sports arenas. You shouldpossess a passion and deep understanding of food & beverage operations,including operational delivery, security, risk, and safety and proven successin managing complex operations with onsite execution. Excellent written andverbal communication skills are essential, to create relationships with bothinternal and external stakeholders, assisting in the delivery of world classevents.

In this role, you will:
  • Act as the key point of contact and escalation for clients and stakeholders during event tenancy, ensuring all service requests, operational needs, and issues are resolved efficiently and to the highest standard.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a large, diverse team across event operations and food & beverage services, fostering a high-performance culture focused on service excellence and accountability.
  • Oversee coordination with internal departments including logistics, technical services, and hospitality to ensure seamless, end-to-end event delivery.
  • Drive operational excellence by implementing and maintaining best-in-class standards in client service and guest experience, reinforcing ICC Sydney’s reputation as a premium event destination.
  • Oversee the delivery of premium food & beverage and operations across multiple events, ensuring extraordinary guest experiences, compliance with responsible service requirements, effective workforce deployment, and achievement of service, quality, and financial performance targets.

Required Skills & Experience:

This is a great opportunity to be part of a high performingteam who oversee the delivery of over 700 events a year. If you love event operations,food and beverage, thrive in a high energy fast-paced environment and have acollaborative and inclusive approach to event operations management, then thisrole might be for you. You will also have:

  • Demonstrated experience leading large-scale food & beverage operations, specifically within venues, hotels, convention centres or stadiums.
  • Minimum four years industry experience including two years in a senior supervisory role.
  • Valid NSW Responsible Service of Alcohol accreditation.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver a high level of customer service.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead large operational teams.
  • Working knowledge of WH&S legislation, risk assessment practices, food safety standards and NSW liquor laws and regulations.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders across multiple teams
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Willingness to work in a team or autonomously with minimal direction.
  • Valid working rights in Australia.
  • You must be 18 years or over.
