Job summary

Accor is seeking a Food and Beverage Outlets Manager for the Brisbane CBD property, overseeing KG Sports Bar and In Room Dining. The role requires hands-on leadership, strong people skills and a flexible approach to shifts to deliver exceptional guest service.

You will manage service flow, drive revenue through training, and ensure safety and budget adherence while nurturing staff development and succession planning.

Job description

Pullman & Mercure King George Square is a vibrant 438 room twin towered hotel which acts as a sanctuary for leisure and business travellersas well as a place to be with our external facing venues including Goldfinch Restaurant and Street Café, Sixteen Antlers Rooftop Bar as well as internal facing KG Sports Bar.

Located opposite King George Square, City Hall and ideally situated in the heart of Brisbane CBD the hotel has some of the largest conference spaces in Brisbane incorporating 2 ballrooms.

Reporting to the Director of Food & Beverage, the role of Food and Beverage Outlets Manager will oversee the operation of all the F&B outlets as well as champion the guest and employee experience.

Job Description

You will be overseeing our Food and Beverage Outlets:

• KG Sports Bar
• In Room Dining

As the ideal candidate, you will have experience in a similar leadership position, and a passion for people and service. You must be able to multitask at a high-level whist developing individual team members and the team as a whole. You will also have a hands-on management style and be flexible with working across a variety of shifts.

As Food and Beverage Outlets Manager you will:

• Lead theteam in a hands-on capacity, ensuring a consistent and proactive approach
• Manage daily service flow across the hotel restaurant, bars and in room dining
• Driving revenue through team training initiatives and developing team
• Proactively reviewing service standards and training team to meet the standards
• Proactively creating unique experiences tailored to the guests
• Ordering & stock control
• Maintaining Food, Beverage and wage costs in line with budget
• Maintaining and improving safety & hygiene standards
• Employee recruitment, training and development including - people succession planning for sustainable success

Qualifications

• Flexibility to work various shifts includingweekends, mornings, nights and public holidays
• Rostering and forecasting competency
• Food knowledge
• Wine knowledge
• Training and development capabilities
• Strong people leadership ability
• A true hospitality professional dedicated to providing customer service excellence
• RMLV & Approved Managers Licence or willing to obtain
