Job summary

Hervey Bay RSL and Burpengary Community Club in Fraser Coast QLD is seeking an energetic Food & Beverage Attendant for casual shifts. You will server, prepare beverages, take orders, and ensure smooth service across the restaurant and cafe areas.

Reporting to the Restaurant and Café Supervisors, you will handle transactions, follow RSA/RSG guidelines, and maintain high standards of customer service with a friendly, professional approach. Training is provided and on-site parking is available.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in hospitality.
• Current RSA and RSG statements.
• Must be eligible to obtain National Police Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Accurately recording transactions on the register.
• Making beverages in café.
• Delivering meals and clearing plates.
• Taking orders and serving meals.
• Preparing the Bistro for operation and accompaniments.

About the Role …

We are looking for an experienced Food and Beverage Attendant who has a bright, outgoing personality and exceptional customer service skills to ensure the smooth operation of the Hervey Bay RSL Club's food service facilities.

Reporting to the Restaurant and Café Supervisors, your key responsibilities will include:

• Accurately recording transactions on the register
• Adhering to RSA and RSG policies
• Making of all beverages in café
• Delivering meals and clearing plates
• Competently taking orders
• Preparing and serving meals
• Preparing the Bistro for operation including cutlery, decorations and
  accompaniments
• Following safe work procedures
• General cleaning of working areas
• Assisting with Functions

This role has casual hours, with a weekly roster. Shifts range from early morning starts to very late finishing times. Must be available days, nights, weekends, public holidays and split shifts.

About you …

As someone with previous experience in the hospitality industry, you will possess a passion for delivering excellent customer service. You will have a willingness to build long-term relationships with our members and will have impeccable grooming, presentation and communication skills.

To be considered for this role, youMUSThave relevant experience, skills and knowledge of the hospitality industry and required certificates.

• Be a strong team member, willing to adapt to change and follow directions
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels with a range of different people
• Barista skills an advantage
• Awareness of HACCP Food Hygiene

• Ability to work with minimal supervision

Experience and Qualifications:
