Job summary

Pegasus Leisure Group is seeking a Food and Beverage Attendant for the Grand Hotel in Frankston on a casual basis. Join a friendly hospitality team delivering great service at the gateway to the Mornington Peninsula.

You will greet guests, take orders, serve food and drinks, clear tables, and keep service areas clean, working with kitchen and FOH staff to ensure smooth experiences.

Qualifications

• Customer-focused hospitality experience is preferred but not required.
• RSA/RSG certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Do Food Safely certification (or willingness to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests with a friendly attitude.
• Take orders and serve food and drinks efficiently.
• Clear and reset tables to maintain cleanliness.
• Keep service areas clean and organised.
• Process transactions using POS systems.
• Collaborate with kitchen and FOH team to ensure smooth service.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Food and Beverage Attendant to join the team at Grand Hotelin Frankston on a Casualbasis.

The Grand Hotel is located in Frankston, the gateway to the Mornington Peninsula.

Featuring a family friendly bistro, great service and a relaxed atmosphere, making it the perfect dining experience for all to enjoy.

About Us

Pegasus Leisure Group (PLG) is the hospitality arm of the Melbourne Racing Club, managing a growing network of 17 pubs, clubs and hospitality venues across Victoria. Our venues include bistros, sports bars, function spaces and gaming areas, each focused on delivering great hospitality experiences within their local communities.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Welcoming and seating guests with a friendly, positive attitude
• Taking orders and delivering food and beverages efficiently
• Clearing and resetting tables to keep the venue looking its best
• Maintaining clean and organised service areas
• Handling transactions accurately using POS systems
• Working closely with the kitchen and FOH team to keep service running smoothly
• Creating a great experience for every guest

What We’re Looking For

• Great energy and a positive, can-do attitude
• A love for interacting with people and creating memorable guest experiences
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-first approach
• The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Previous hospitality experience is a bonus, but not essential
  
• Gaming or TAB qualification/experience advantageous
• Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification, or willingness to obtain
• Responsible Service of Gaming (RSG) certification, or willingness to obtain
• Do Food Safely certification, or willingness to obtain
