RELATBL Recruiting Pty Ltd in Canberra is seeking an APS4/5 level FOI support professional on a full-time labour hire contract until 30 June 2027. Hybrid working arrangements are supported and commence early December.

You will process FOI requests, build stakeholder relationships and provide FOI advice, while maintaining records in line with information management and security requirements. The role supports fair, evidence-based outcomes under the FOI framework.

Qualifikationen

• Ability to interpret and apply the Freedom of Information Act 1982 to access or amendment requests.
• Ability to organise, prioritise, monitor and report on work amid competing priorities.
• Strong research, analysis and problem-solving with accuracy and attention to detail for evidence-based decisions.
• Strongly preferred: experience as an FOI decision maker.
• Ability to communicate clearly, concisely and effectively with internal staff and stakeholders.

Aufgaben

• Process and decide requests for access to documents under the Freedom of Information Act.
• Build and maintain stakeholder relationships.
• Provide professional FOI advice to internal staff and stakeholders.
• Maintain and file records in line with information management and security requirements.
• Analyse information and data, and prepare recommendations for senior review or clearance.
