Job summary

The Pasta Emporium is seeking a casual Sales Assistant for its Robina, QLD store. This role focuses on delivering an outstanding in-store experience, serving customers, recommending products, and handling POS transactions.

Work is 25–30 hours per week with consistent set weekday shifts, no weekends and no night work. Prior hospitality or sales experience helps, but is not essential; a supportive small team environment awaits in this artisan pasta shop.

Responsibilities

• Greeting and serving customers with warmth and confidence.
• Recommending products and upselling where appropriate.
• Handling POS transactions accurately.
• Replenishing stock and maintaining display cabinets.
• Keeping the shop clean, organized and presentation-ready.
• Assisting with packing orders and general shop duties.
• Jumping in to help wherever needed to support the team.
• Communicates clearly and confidently.

The Pasta Emporium is a boutique artisan pasta store, we are family run and operated with a passion for bringing quality, tradition and exceptional customer service. We are looking for a confident, reliable and friendly Sales Assistant to join our growing team.

This is a casual position offering 25-30 hours per week, with consistent set weekday shifts only no weekends and no night work.

About the Role

This is primarily a customer-facing sales role. You will be responsible for delivering an outstanding in-store experience while supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the shop.

This role does not involve making pasta, but you must be willing to assist in other areas of the business when required.

Key Responsibilities
