Job summary

Continental Kosher Butchers Pty Ltd is seeking a customer-focused team member for a fast-paced retail environment. You will deliver excellent service, help customers with product choices, and maintain appealing displays while upholding high hygiene and presentation standards.

Ideal candidates are reliable, punctual, and enjoy engaging with shoppers. Shifts are Monday–Thursday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM and Friday 8:00 AM–3:00 PM with no weekends or night work.

Qualifications

• Availability to work standard operating hours 8:00 AM–5:00 PM Monday to Thursday and 8:00 AM–3:00 PM Friday
• No weekends and no night shifts
• Demonstrated reliability, punctuality and strong work ethic
• Ability to follow workplace policies, procedures and supervisor directions
• Positive attitude with willingness to support team during busy periods
• Able to stand and move for extended periods and handle stock safely
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging customers

• Provide warm, friendly, and professional service to all customers
• Assist customers with product selections, recommendations, and general enquiries
• Create a positive and engaging shopping experience in a busy retail setting
• Build strong customer relationships through excellent communication and product knowledge
• Share cooking ideas, recipe suggestions, and food preparation tips with customers and colleagues
• Promote products confidently by highlighting quality, freshness, and usage ideas
• Support food presentation and merchandising to maintain an attractive display
• Assist with packaging and preparation of customer orders
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards across workstations and retail areas
• Ensure products are displayed neatly and stocked appropriately
