Job summary

Macmahon is seeking a skilled FMS technician for the Telfer Project in Western Australia. You will install, commission and service FMS equipment, working with a team to keep systems reliable and safe on site.

You will diagnose and repair modular mining equipment, integrate with third-party networks, and collaborate with production and planning teams to schedule work. FIFO roster applies, with competitive benefits and parental leave.

Qualifications

• Australian-recognised mobile plant trade certificate.
• Experience diagnosing, repairing and maintaining Modular Mining equipment systems.
• Expertise with communications/network infrastructure software.
• Ability to work as part of a team and step up when needed.
• Commitment to safe work practices and job quality.

Responsibilities

• Install and commission FMS equipment.
• FMS system maintenance and repairs.
• Integration and troubleshooting with third party systems that utilise the Modular Mining communications network for data transmission.
• Speak‑up and contribute to our culture; everyone home safe, every swing.
• Work closely with production and planning teams to schedule work.
