Job summary

Ian Williams Ltd is recruiting a Floor Layer Multi-Trade to join our response maintenance team based in the Waverley area. You will specialise in flooring repairs in customer properties and void properties, delivering reliable workmanship and excellent service.

The role requires demonstrable domestic floor laying experience, NVQ in floor laying (or equivalent), and a full UK driving licence. We offer a 39-hour week with a basic salary of £39,870, with OTE up to £43,926 including bonus and

Responsibilities

• Carry out floor repairs including cap and cove, vinyl sheet, vinyl tiles and latex.
• Complete repairs in voids and refurbishment projects.
• Maintain a safe working environment and uphold health and safety standards.
• Provide excellent customer service in occupied properties.

The Floor Layer Multi Trade role:

You will complete variable jobs including cap and cove, vinyl sheet, vinyl tiles and latex, and domestic floor laying

Successfully complete repairs and maintenance jobs within our voids and refurbishment team

You will demonstrate excellent customer service skills when working in a customer facing environment, working in occupied properties.

Maintaining a safe working environment is imperative, and being aware of the health and safety of yourself, your team and your customers.

What will you bring to the Floor Layer Multi Trade role?

Demonstrable experience of domestic floor laying

PreferablyNVQ qualified, or equivalent,in floor laying

Motivated in your approach to work, and able to work to individual and team output targets

Possession of a full current UK Driving license, which is essential to undertake theFloor Layer role, with use of a company van (to be discussed at interview stage).
