Job summary

Feros Hotel Group is seeking a Front of House team member for Ocean Beach Hotel. You will be the face of the venue, greeting guests, seating customers, taking orders, and handling payments while maintaining a clean and welcoming dining environment.

Roles involve beverage and cocktail prep, glassware restocking, and adapting to a fast-paced setting. Gaming roles require RSA/RCG/ARCG certifications and a strong team mindset.

Qualifications

• Current Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate (RSA) – Essential for all roles.
• Current Responsible Conduct of Gaming (RCG) – Essential for those wanting to work in Gaming roles.
• Current Advanced Responsible Conduct of Gaming (ARCG) – Essential for those wanting to work in Gaming roles.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well within a team as well as autonomously when required.
• Ability to work a flexible roster including weekdays, weeknights, weekends, and public holidays.

What is the role?

As a front of house team member at Ocean Beach Hotel, you are the face of our venue so your ability to make people feel welcome and make them smile is paramount to your success. Your day-to-day duties include but are not limited to:

Greeting and seating customers

Cleaning, clearing, and resetting tables

Taking orders and making payments

Preparing beverages and cocktails

Washing and restocking glassware

Managing customers and pre-empting RSA issues

Attending to gaming machines and providing payouts

For specialized roles in Gaming and/or Bar & Cocktail experience is required.

What is needed to be successful in this role?
