Job summary

The Department of Justice in Perth is seeking a permanent, full-time lawyer to perform probate-related duties, including drafting Wills and Enduring Powers of Attorney, and advising on deceased estates and trusts.

The successful candidate will work as a junior member of a legal team, hold or be eligible for a WA practising certificate, and demonstrate strong IT skills and teamwork, with opportunities for learning and career progression.

Qualifications

• Must hold or be eligible for a WA Australian practising certificate.
• At least 2 years’ Post-Admission Experience (PAE).
• Ability to work as a junior member of a team and support staff.

Responsibilities

• Draft Wills and Enduring Powers of Attorney.
• Provide probate legal advice and prepare probate documents.
• Advise on administration of deceased estates and trusts.
