Job summary

de Witt Consulting is seeking a Survey Draftsperson in Gosford to join our growing team. You will coordinate and deliver the Gosford office’s survey drafting requirements, working closely with surveyors to prepare accurate drawings.

The role offers exposure to a broad range of surveying disciplines including construction, cadastral work, DTM, laser scanning and drone surveys, with scope to develop into drafting team leadership as the office expands.

Qualifications

• Experience using AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate drawings
• Good organisation skills and ability to manage competing priorities
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with surveying team
• Proactive attitude and willingness to continue developing skills
• Knowledge of surveying industry and experience preparing survey plans would be highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Prepare set-out plans, deposited plans, detail plans and identification plans
• Support projects across construction, engineering, cadastral surveying, DTM, laser scanning and drone surveys
• Liaise with surveyors to clarify project requirements and incorporate survey information
• Manage drafting priorities to meet project deadlines
• Check drawings for accuracy, consistency and completeness
