Job summary
ATS Land & Engineering Surveyors Pty Ltd, Gladesville, NSW, is seeking an experienced Draftsperson to join our surveying team. You will work with Registered Surveyors and field crews to prepare accurate survey plans for Sydney and NSW projects.
You will draft boundary, subdivision and easement plans, process field data, and leverage AutoCAD/BricsCAD, Leica/CivilCAD/12d and related surveying software to ensure compliance with our standards.
Qualifications
- Experience drafting within land surveying or civil environments.
- Strong understanding of surveying terminology and survey plans.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple jobs and meet deadlines.
- Good communication and organisational skills.
- Experience with 3D drafting is advantageous.
- Experience with NSW subdivision and easement plans is advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed survey plans using AutoCAD/BricsCAD and surveying software
- Draft detail and level surveys, boundary surveys, identification surveys and set-out plans
- Prepare Deposited Plans, easement plans, subdivision plans and associated documentation
- Process and interpret field survey data
- Work from Leica survey data and field observations
- Review plans for accuracy, presentation and compliance with company standards
- Liaise with Registered Surveyors and field staff to resolve drafting and survey issues
- Maintain organised project drawings, records and digital files
- Assist with preparation of plans for NSW Land Registry Services and councils

ATS Surveyors is seeking an experienced and motivated Draftsperson to join our surveying team in Gladesville. The successful applicant will work closely with our Registered Surveyors and field teams to prepare accurate, high-quality survey plans and documentation for a variety of projects throughout Sydney and NSW.
- Prepare detailed survey plans using AutoCAD/BricsCAD and surveying software
- Draft detail and level surveys, boundary surveys, identification surveys and set-out plans
- Prepare Deposited Plans, easement plans, subdivision plans and associated documentation
- Process and interpret field survey data
- Work from Leica survey data and field observations
- Review plans for accuracy, presentation and compliance with company standards
- Liaise with Registered Surveyors and field staff to resolve drafting and survey issues
- Maintain organised project drawings, records and digital files
- Assist with preparation of plans for NSW Land Registry Services and councils
- Previous drafting experience within a land surveying or civil environment
- Good understanding of surveying terminology and survey plans
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple jobs and meet deadlines

- Experience with AutoCAD/BricsCAD 3D skills would be an advantage
- Experience with Leica/CivilCAD/12d or similar surveying software would be highly regarded
