Job summary

GMHBA is seeking a Practice Nurse to join our patient-focused team on a permanent part-time basis. You will deliver high-quality care, support patient health, and work closely with GPs and the practice team in a not-for-profit health setting.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration (Div 1 Nurse).
• Demonstrated clinical competence and working within scope of practice.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Triage and clinical assessment of patients.
• Holistic health checks, screening, and preventative care.
• Chronic disease management, wound care, minor procedures, and vaccinations.
• Manage recalls and reminders, health promotion, and patient education.
• Ordering, stock rotation, and maintenance of clinical systems.
• Support practice accreditation, clinical risk systems, and compliance with WHS, infection control, and cold-chain standards.
• Collaborate with GPs, allied health, nurses, and admin staff.
• Participate in team meetings, quality improvement, and professional development.
