Job summary

Sharp & Carter is seeking a Speech Pathologist to join our established mobile allied health team across Tamworth and surrounding areas. You will assess and treat adults with communication and swallowing difficulties in community, home, and aged care settings, with genuine autonomy to structure your day.

The role offers full-time hours with flexible part-time options, strong clinical supervision for new graduates, ongoing professional development, and occasional regional travel to support clients.

Qualifications

• Qualified Speech Pathologist with SPA membership.
• Ability to work across community, residential aged care and homes.
• Current driver’s license with reliable vehicle.
• Interest in supporting adults with communication and swallowing needs.
• Strong communication and collaborative approach to care.

Responsibilities

• Complete swallowing and communication assessments.
• Develop and deliver evidence-based interventions.
• Support adults with complex and evolving clinical presentations.
• Deliver telehealth where clinically appropriate.
• Coordinate with families, support coordinators, facility staff and other health professionals.
